During my time at OD design studio, BioClin asked us for a rebrand. Multi-Gyn is a market leading company that produces products that treat and prevent vaginal discomforts. The primary goal during this project was to increase their shelf-impact in-store. Clear indication what the products intended use was and for who. This led us to create 3 different branding options for Multi-Gyn. I was responsible for exploring these different design routes.

Evolutionary had an updated design but stayed close to its origins with a modern twist.

Cosmetic looked towards a more commercial, stylistic and cosmetic approach.

Laboratory focused on the medical aspect of the product.

1. Evolutionary

With the evolutionary option, we focused on the main brand by not straying too far away from the current icon that graces the facing of the packaging but giving it a kind and evolutionary nudge to the future with a softer and more modern typeface.

2. Cosmetic

With the cosmetic option, we focused on redesigning the look and feel entirely into something modern yet accessible. More upscale and fashion-forward. A round logo that could also be used as a stamp.

The cosmetic mood was focused on the mood of self-care, soft pastel colors and a more luxurious feel.

The logo stamp could be used as a pattern to strengthen the style of the brand.

3.1 Laboratory

The cosmetic option was split in two, option number 3.1 has its logo broken in two. The brandmark here is separated from the main wordmark. The laboratory route is focused on legitimizing the brand as a medication by making the all-over style of the packaging look more like old-school medical packaging.

3.2 Laboratory

In the second option number 3.2 the logo is not broken up in two pieces. The brandmark and the main wordmark remain paired together.

The laboratory 3.2 mood was focused on the natural beneftis, sharing this, cleanliness and minimalism.
